  • Produced series of podcast episodes on trauma and therapy by interviewing to speak up about the mental health stigma in South Asian communities

  • Wrote article series on the origins of stigma in South Asian culture through an interview with a licensed therapist and secondary research

  • Reach out to external organizations to create lasting partnerships for future collaborations and reach out to other guests to host on the podcast

  • Completed 6 week design project to design UI on Sketch with 30+ screens for Watson Innovation’s global table extraction tool to be engaging for users and showcase AI-based natural language interface

  • Redesigned web development modules in Wagtail to increase engagement by 30% from 60+ users uploading content to official website. 

  • Created brand-new site map in Figma for comms department (to be used by all PATH worldwide employees) that ensured cleaner organization and accessibility of resources by reducing clicks from 4 to 1 and time spent navigating on website.

UW Information School. -   User Research Assistant, Seattle, WA

  • Collaborated with 8 UW & USCD professors, 3 PHD students, and 2 undergrad students to design tool to prevent bias from medical providers.

  • Performed qualitative user research by designing interview guide and survey, recruiting diverse participants, and conducting 40+ user interviews

  • Analyzed 30+ transcripts of interviews with codes and tags to find similar patterns/experiences and understand user needs.

September 2021- Present

  • Co-Authoring 4 part article series that explains the origins of mental health stigma in South Asian Culture 

  • Interviewed licensed therapist and completed secondary research to break down mental health stigma into three core themes to explain how it manifests in our society today.

  • Article series covers topics around shame, body image, and working conditions. 

"Keep it Quiet", Sexual Assault Awareness Campaign -  Mannmukti, Project Lead

March 2021- May 2021

  • Lead month long Instagram campaign to break the silence around sexual assault

  • Collected and organized anonymous testimonials from survivors

  • Each week, testimonials were organized by themes to increase awareness around sexual assault and increase empathy and understanding for survivors. 

Powbility, Accessibility for Power BI -  Microsoft, Design Lead

  • Created chrome accessibility checker with team of 5 students for Power BI through Microsoft that checks for 5 different tests and a best practices document with accessibility guidelines for users with the goal of moving accessibility to the forefront of the design process in report creation

  • Completed market research, literature research, competitive analysis and 10 interviews for user research and then synthesized findings on Miro

  • Completed 3 rounds of user testing and iterated on design with feedback from Microsoft developers

King County Opioid Epidemic -  Project Lead, Design for America

November 2019 - June 2020

  • Lead team of 6 students through design thinking process on 7 month long project to help patients prescribed opioids for manage their medication and reduce likelihood of addiction.
